4*5+ HB box squat

The #osteopath said the low back seems fine now but I've been dealing with a muscle contracture in the piriformis for two months now.

I'll see regularly a physical therapist regularly, beginning on Tuesday so I'm confident I'll get injury free while training, I can't stop really.
But no low bar for now.

I undershot the RPE a little with 365lbs as it's been a long time since I've done high bar, but there's always next week. First set of 345 and then 365 shown. Followed by an OHP single at 207lbs then sets of 8 and some sets of 10 on leg press. These numbers put my estimated maxes at around 475, 340, and 550 which would all be PRs. I'm not all that big on estimated maxes (especially if not using a custom RPE chart), but they can be an indicator of progress without having to take max singles all the time.

If you skip reps, sets or a even a certain excersie casue you dont like dont get angry cause your not improving. At the end of the day you only get out what you put in so do the goddam work ๐Ÿ‘Š

Not only that, but I also broke the 182 lb Georgia State Record by 14 lbs (and broke my previous 163 lb bodyweight state record by 64 lbs... that's right... 64 lbs!). All of this while cutting at a 1400 deficit. Absolutely in awe at the kind of progress I've been making lately, and hope to continue it for months to come. So I learned today that my pause squat is very weak.  I am going to only be doing pauses for the next few weeks.  This is 465lbs for 3 in the video.  The next weeks (squating one time a week) will be top sets of W1: 415lbs for 8 paused, W2: 445lbs for 5 paused, W3: 475lbs for 3 reps, W4: 425lbs for 8 reps, W5: 455lbs for 5 reps, and W6: 485lbs for 3 reps.  Depending on how well the next 6 weeks go will determine wether or not I can switch back to standard squats.  I think I want to pause 525lbs for 3 reps before I transfer back but I will see how things go.  Stay tuned!
