//Blessings// Sundays are for the Lord, family, and taking time to slow down. My boys and I took a long drive today down some old country roads by the cotton and peanut fields and listened to some sweet country music and it was as if time just stopped. I pointed out the old barns and cows and horses to my oldest and I loved seeing his face light up to see sights of the country. It's the little things in life that are just so beautiful. Then, we stopped in Walmart and 4 teenagers randomly came up to me and say "excuse me ma'am, we'd like to know if there is anything we can pray for you." In that moment, I just smiled because I loved their boldness and I loved their heart for the Lord. They give me hope for the future of my boys in this crazy world. I asked them to pray for direction for my family and for my sweet boys to grow up to love the Lord like they do. So, right there we all prayed in the aisle of Walmart and I felt God there smiling down on us and it was a beautiful thing. Friends, take time this week and thank God for the simple, little things in life. Thank Him for your health, for this beautiful world, for your sweet family, for old barns that have farmers that work hard to provide the food that you eat, for teenagers that are on fire for Jesus, and then thank God for His goodness and Grace! He is so, so good! ///TAG a friend that is an inspiration to you!! #myfarmhousesunshine

A CHILD'S FATAL BAD DREAM: "A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET" (1984)!
In the camp classic "A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET", the villainous FREDDY KRUEGER stalks and kills his victims in their DREAMS. But the INSPIRATION for the movie - and its eventual sequels - is tragic.
According to director WES CRAVEN, he came up with the film's idea after reading an L.A. TIMES article about a family that had survived the KILLING FIELDS in CAMBODIA. "They made it to the United States, but a young boy in the family still found himself HAUNTED by terrible NIGHTMARES while he slept," CRAVEN recalled. "He told his parents he was afraid that if he slept, the THING chasing him would get him, so he tried to STAY AWAKE for days at a time. When he finally fell asleep, his parents thought this crisis was over. Then they heard SCREAMS in the middle of the night. By the time they got to him, he was DEAD. He died in the middle of a NIGHTMARE."
