Punjab Nahi Jaongi
A complete package. Yes, the film is a complete package of entertainment, dances, music and drama – all in one film. The storyline is engaging and progressive. There is not a single scene that would make you wonder “why did they add that”. Every scene and sequence is well thought and remarkably well executed. On the same note, the film has some exceptionally catchy phrases and dialogues people are going to use for a very long time in future. I personally loved the character of Miyan Ji, a cute and charming grandfather who is not just old but wise too. @saeedhumayun 's character was charming. and Urwa's character, in my opinion was the perfect choice for this role!
The movie is still running in theatres so I wouldn’t want to spoil it by stating my favorite dialogues here.
Some would say that it promotes territorial love, conservative mindset and undermining women in general; but I think the focus of movie is not based on these factors. It has more to do with the difference of opinion and not at any point I felt a woman is undermined. In fact, I thought Mehwish's character was strong and impactful.
I am impressed with the production design of entire project, pretty detailed and visually appealing. I personally felt the trailer did not justify the movie enough, it has more to offer. Most of the shows are still running house-full which shows how successful it is and how much Pakistani audience appreciate good content. Normally we compare Pakistani movies with Indian content. I think this one did a better job than most of the Indian movies releasing in recent times given this genre. I can definitely watch this movie one more time in cinema.
Ps. I am still singing 'tere naal naal rehna' .

Na Maloom Afraad 2 -
I watched this film last Sunday and can still laugh on few punch lines it used. Needless to say, it’s a movie every Karachiite can relate to, exactly how part #NaMaloomAfraad made us all feel. Since its still running on theatres, so I will limit my review to non-spoiler mode. The film is a complete entertainment pack with high production, good sound design, excellent music and pretty hilarious punch lines. I personally felt Moon’s character was really highlighted in this one as compared to the predecessor, while Farhan’s character was still the same. Shakeel Bhai’s stammering stole the show, but at some points it felt exaggerated. Dances and songs were amazing, considering the commercial aspect. If I had to compare the entire package with part 1, I would say the former was slightly better, but it is a tough choice as this one is great too. If you haven’t, then do watch this movie with friends and have a good laugh! .
Muhommad Muneeb Khan, a survivor of the 2014 Army Public School Massacre, lost his only brother in the heinous attack. “The Survivor,” a short documentary, follows Muneeb’s inner turmoil, fears, and his individual growth through the post-attack trauma. Watch the film on Friday, September 29th at DePaul University during our short film/documentary session from 1pm until 3:30pm. Get a weekend pass to get access to all our short film and documentary sessions all weekend long.
Na maloom afrad 2. Loveddddd it!! I am famous for loving tapori type films. I don't mean movies with guns, murders and robberies but like films with lots of noise and crazy stuff. Horror, chickflicks and comedy are the only genres i love. There is a big full stop after it. The direction was really good. The movie had limited songs, so glad!! Hate movies with ganay pai ganaa. Now many people said 'story to the he nai' bhae story he to the is main. 🤔 The concept was nice and the interlinking and the crazy stuff they put up was keeping the audience intrigued and occupied. Plus my son sat their silently and watched the full movie because there was always something coming next in the movie. 100% entertaining and I don't regret watching it. @fahadmustafaofficial ❤️ looked super adorable. Please do do watch the film. #namaloomafraad2#goodday#eid2017#fahadmustafa#haniaamir#urwahocane#jawaidsheikh#celebrity#pakistanifilm#pakistan#bloggerpakistan#fashionblogger#moviesof2017#critics
