So whilst wifey @cjonesy2686 is at the gym I've started rehab with some one handed washing up 😂 followed by post workout shake 😜.. While methods of tracking progress such as scales, tape measurements, performance in gym, and overall wellbeing are relied upon for the majority of time, this must be looked upon over more than a day or 2 time span

One or two weird weigh in results don't dictate your current standpoint. One or two poor gym sessions where you couldn't hit your numbers doesn't mean something is wrong. Going off track once in several months doesn't mean you are now back to where you started

We often get so caught up with what happens on a daily basis that we freak out at times. We see a high weigh in result and we can questions ourselves as to whether we done something wrong. We fail on one of our lifts and assume our strength is dropping or something is wrong

Providing you are following a process, a calculated one that is, sometimes you need to just trust the protocols you have in place and not overly concern yourself with what a few not so desirable days show on paper. We have many variables to factor in on a daily basis, and your most accurate representation of your progress should be determined over an extended period, more so than a few day span or even a week.

Keep looking ahead!!!! Well folks, when something does not work well and you tried all that you can to adjust then maybe it is time to change. Well after doing low bar squat for over a year and had some good results I decided to go back to high bar. My back was not handling low bar well and my body showed me it time to chance. The change has been good and this week during my squat workout, I was planning on finishing my last set with two reps but the weights move so well that I had to go for a third. 
Sometime we set our minds on a certain focus and can't seem to get the results that you are hoping to see. You try all you can and you just continue to hit roadblocks. Well, this week at work with Athletes in Action, I was reminded that God has a bigger picture in mind than what I see. This week I had the privilege of being accepted to be a part of uOttawa Gee Gee High Performance Team where I will be working with varsity athletes on campus to help them with their strength training. Point being is they're really isn't a huge difference besides price value 🤔  you'd be better off putting a scoop of whey into it you'd get more out if it (and a lil more flavour)  even protein milk only has 1% extra protein in it compared to normal milk 😁 -

Some of yesterday’s madness!!! Ended up leaving the gym once again and coming home to train. I had to modify some of the movements but was able to target the groups I needed to to get the job done. You can call the the “big” lifts of the day. Strict press 235 tripe’s. Close grip bench 365 triples and some bent over rows at 275. The rows should have been dumbbell seal work but I don’t have 120 lbs dB laying around 😕😕 . I’m open to suggestions for all gyms within reasonable distance to train at. Si eres una persona propensa a sufrir torceduras de tobillo y esguinces, es probable que los músculos que estabilizan tu tobillo no se encuentren en un buen estado. 👎Aquí os traigo un ejercicio muy simple para trabajar esta estabilidad resitiendo tanto la inversión como la eversión. 🙌🙌

Para este ejercicio únicamente necesitamos una goma elástica y un lugar donde atarla.

1️⃣Colocamos la coma en la parte interna/externa de nuestro tobillo. 
2️⃣Ponemos una tensión adecuada en la goma que nos permita resistir su efecto pero requiera esfuerzo y concentración para ello. 
3️⃣Nos ponemos "de puntillas" desde esta posición. 
4️⃣ ❤ si te ha gustado el video 😉

Para variar la carga y dificultad del ejercicio 💪 podemos variar la tensión de la goma, pero también podemos cambiar la velocidad con la que lo ejecutamos, así como aguantar más tiempo al final del recorrido. . 👥Etiqueta a ese amigo que siempre se tuerce el tobillo. 👥

On one hand this is a 10lb triple PR, and getting to really grind through that third rep helpeed me reassured myself that when it comes time for it I won't crumple as soon as the weight challenges me in a competition. However I was really dissatisfied with my execution today. I felt felt sticky and out of sorts from warmup set one. J'aime bien le WOD du samedi matin parce que je me prends toujours des grosses gifles dans la gueule: haltéro la veille au soir, fin de la semaine, 2 jours sans Crossfit. 
Ça me remet bien à ma place! 
Je pourrais changer mon organisation, j'y ai pensé, mais non. 
C'est bon de se sentir inconfortable et d'aller de l'avant quand même. 
C'est bon de se sentir fatiguée et de continuer quand même.

J'entraîne mon esprit à être plus fort et plus endurant. 
J'apprends à commander et à ne pas laisser quelque douleur qui doit prendre le dessus. 
Ça me donne encore plus envie de bosser. "Ta zone de confort te tuera."

Deadlifts - 230,240kg which I can’t remember the last time I pulled that (could be a rep PB but probs not)

My philosophy on food is that I FUCKING LOVE REECES PB CUPS❤️😍🍫 I think it's important to base most of your daily intake around whole unprocessed foods, but if that's not your thing then that's cool too😏 I try not to look at food as either 'good' or 'bad' because thats the root of ALL eating disorders...it can be easy to get fixated on avoiding a certain food, which then turns into a whole food group, and then becomes a problem. I feel sad for people who don't know the joys of being able to actually ENJOY a balanced diet, but instead feel constantly deprived😔 It's what gives 'eating healthy' a bad rep! Life's just to short to eat food that you don't like. Number 1 rule is balance, consistency and moderation🔑 .
