When I look back on my training over the years I have neglected them heavily. I have also wondered why I didn't have them 🤔 We can't have anything in this life without attacking the things you want head on. Good to know that even at 30 lbs down in bodyweight, I can still play with 4 plates for reps. I didn't deadlift much for a while so it's taking some time to get the form in check. I need to engage my core and hips more, but I'll take it for now.

can't look the camera in the face because the bulk mode cheeks are too strong rn 😅🤷🏼‍♂️ just got my body comp. checked and I'm 171.2 lbs (77.7 kg) and 14% body fat. I'm not sure how accurate the body fat is but as long as my check ups are consistent I'm happy🙇🏼👊🏼

Day one of the mini-cut 🔪🔪🔪 in the books! Went to bed last night at 170lbs and woke up at 165 lmao so looks like my body had a good amount of water weight stored up from the excess carbs. Plan is to moderate the carbs a bit and let my metabolism take care of burning fat this next week or so 👍👍 Worked chest/tri/shoulders today (push day) but in all honesty it fely pretty 💩 compared to last week 🙁 so I did some more rotator cuff exercises and felt a decent amount of tightness go away after a while and was able to do a little more pressing and triceps without much issue. Definitely a sign that I've been slacking in stretches/mobility exercises, and most likely pushing my shoulder a little too hard right for where it's at in the recovery process. Gonna keep a close eye on it over  the next few days and back off the weight in general next time I attempt a push day again.

I’m currently posted up in the lib and I just knocked out 4 assignments‼️ For me, it’s really hard to sit down & do work but when I do, I’m productive af. Time to walk home & EAT🍕 (not pizza tho... chicken & sweet potato is on the menu😅) Earlier I went to the gym expecting to get a killer shoulder pump, hit a PR on overhead press & just have a great workout BUT that wasn’t the case... but it’s ok fam, tomorrow’s a new day so get ready😈 What are you training tomorrow??

Breaking Plateaus and Stalls usually comes down to simply doing more total work in the gym. Increasing ones ability to produce a higher volume of work at a lower average intensity (less weight on the bar) is a great way to do this. -

The goal of this finisher was to do 3 pull-ups and then complete 2 slow negative reps for 10 [quick] seconds. Find yourself a workout partner who can push you but who can also not take things too seriously! Fun times 😁
