Enough said. Things can get difficult but whining and complaining only does so much. Change and progression aren’t passive movements. If you aren’t constantly grinding and fighting for more, you’ll either stay stagnant like WAY too many people do, or worse, you’ll start to slip backwards. Rise, grind, sleep, repeat!

I was asked by a friend in my Facebook group if I could share some tips on what I've been learning about empathy. So, I'm super excited that today starts an experiment, a sort of online class. We were biologically made to need connection. Despite the plethora of ways we have to communicate with one another, so many of us are finding ourselves wanting for deep connections. And although empathy is just one part of the equation, I think if we started to use it more in all the areas of our lives, we would not only find it, but we could change the world. Ahhhh so much I want to say for this one. 📢 I've unknowingly been exploring a deeper level of vulnerability in my Instagram posts for the past several months... it wasn't intentional, and in fact, the world "vulnerability" still makes me cringe... I prefer to just think of it as being honest. 😉 🤷🏻♀️Through this process I've also discovered a greater need for boundaries... so without diving into the depths of my experience, all I'll say is that I know the experience of not being seen. I know what it feels like to compensate for that by trying to either outlandishly stand out or meekly fit in. I've done both at different points in my lives, and neither helped. I know it will sound so cliqué... but I am just arriving at this place where I am living my life to the best of my ability, doing the things I love, without caring about what others may think of me (well, most of the time...). I SEE myself more, and through that, people see me. One of the unconscious reasons I became a yoga teacher was because I want to provide a space for people to BE SEEN... it's my current humble belief that this occurs when we have the opportunity to first SEE OURSELVES. Once that begins to take place, we can simultaneously step outside of ourselves, and SEE those we are in relationship with. (Really we are ALL in relationship. Everything on this Earth/in this Universe is in relationship.) No one should have to feel unseen in this world. 🌏 These are the same reasons that I co-founded the @consciouscreativescircle. Final set of my 5x5 with 315 after working up to 365. I only managed to get 4 on the last, but this is one of my favorite rep/set schemes for building unbridled strength. Keep in mind I am currently fasted doing this as well😏💪🏼
