In celebration of the National Association of Home Builders Professional Women in Building Week, we’re putting the spotlight on Tama Sundstrom of Evergreen Homes NW.
As business often demands, Tama's mastered the art of wearing many hats. She's foremost a designer, striking a challenging balance between being creative and practical and delivering the features on a customer's dream list while respecting their budget. She also stays on top of current design trends adapting them to people’s personal styles when designing a home to fit their lives. In addition to designing hundreds of custom homes for varying budgets, she leads the selections process with customers, is a model home decorator, writes fair and understandable contracts, is instrumental in identifying land with the potential to become a future neighborhood, and collaborates with the engineering team on subdivision design.
Hats off to Tama! We're grateful she's on our team.
Let the record show that I was holding this frog very gently. It is just a horrible picture, but I have to post because I am so excited to have found a RED LEGGED FROG! I just recently learned it is a threatened species of frog in this area. I am happy to say I relocated him from a construction zone to a garden bed, where he will live happily ever after. SO COOL!!!! Hopefully the new garden I am planting will make him happy, too. #redleggedfrog#ribbitribbit#naturesightings#happyfrogs#hophophop #🐸 #gardeningforwildlife

Remember those 8 weeks that I was bedrest? Yep, I'm over that and it's go time. I began my term as NACCC Chair in January with big shoes to fill and I am "striving" (word of the year) each day to do just that. 👟👟 So, with that said...you should probably take note now: NACCC = Neighborhood Associations Council of Clark County and here we go! #thisisnaccc#clarkwa#clarkcountywa#neighborhoodleaderatwork#neighborhoodleader#volunteer#leadership#communityadvocate

Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.⠀
The first Labor Day was held in 1882. Its origins stem from the desire of the Central Labor Union to create a holiday for workers. It became a federal holiday in 1894. All Government offices, organizations, and many businesses are closed. on federal holidays. ⠀
How will you celebrate?⠀
