Can I share something with you all this morning... My mess.....💖 🤷🏻♀️ Learning to embrace this at times is SOOOO hard! Mess, clutter, and just an over abundance of STUFF gives me BIG time anxiety! I suppose order to my house makes me feel like I have some order to my life; and honestly I feel there is probably some truth to that.
I work 12 hour shifts every Monday and Tuesday, and occasionally I'll pick up a third, 12 hour shift which makes me a full-time working mama for that week. Some of you may thing....big deal 🙄 if that's the case then press on. I'm all about encouragement..... 👋🏻 This week I worked Monday, Tuesday, Thursday. My point ☝🏻 my house gets neglected in those days I'm gone 😫 I'm not pointing this out because I want to shame my hubby as I realize he is sometimes busy doing things outside the house, such as: helping his dad, mowing, fixing things, building things, all while working 7a-3p five days a week.
When I walked in the door last night from work, I noticed I wasn't as distressed by the condition of my house as I have been in the past. I kind of ignored it and just focused on enjoying the shower of hugs, kisses, and "how was your day mama" from my boys 💖
I went to bed knowing I had the entire day to tackle it all, and to be proud of putting into action the time saving hacks and organization skills I've learned lately. In a fraction of the time it used to take me I'll have the downstairs presentable and clean before lunch. I also got my workout in this AM 🙌🏻💪🏻 which seriously helps my mood and tolerance 😂
Let's take a moment to share our mom messes and be grateful we have little ones playing, dishes to clean because we are not alone and have a family to feed, floors to sweep and mop because we have a home, and the means to make it all happen 💖
This lifestyle has changed everything for the better. Once I learned it was a LIFESTYLE not a diet or fad or quick fix. An EVERYDAY thing, not a 7 day, 30 day, or 90 day thing. Once I got that it takes TIME, consistency, and a lot of hard days, it all changed. 💪🏼
I want to say to you what I wish someone would have said to me 2 years ago- YOU CAN DO THIS. No matter what other people say, or how many times you fail and mess it up, or how many people tell you you can't---YOU CAN. Don't give up, keep going. .

•1/3 cup natural peanut butter

I am guilty of praying many times for God to take over a situation in my life, but now that I'm reflecting on it....I realize that God has me going through that situation to change ME. This really challenged me this morning and opened my eyes to some unanswered prayers (or so I thought) in my life.
