Throw back Thursday #tbt to those shreds and competing in my very first bikini competition! Truth be told.. I have severe stage fright and I was shaking the first 5-10 seconds on stage. I had to mentally tell myself to calm down and just show off what I worked so hard for. Coming off of prep and not being stage lean was a huge mental game for me and it took some time to overcome as well! But guess what?! It was a learning process and from here on out ny reverse diet will be MUCH more intense and strict!! It helps you mentally. Now I'm in off season and although I'm not walking around looking as lean; I still have abs and my body is no longer holding onto water. I was having a terrible workout this morning. I don't know why but everything was putting me in a shit mood, and Logan could tell I wasn't having it by how short I was with him. Finally he says "having a bad workout is better than having no workout". And I thought why the hell am I pissed, he's so right. I still got up at 5 am. I still ate breakfast and left for the gym running on barely 6 hours of sleep and 2 cups of coffee. I still pushed through a workout to the point where my legs were shot, even though I was pissed and didn't want to be there anymore. Not every workout is going to be a good one, but it's better than no workout at all! Did my workout suck? Yeah kinda. But it showed me what my weakness are and what I need to work on moving forward. My glutes are weak so my squats are sucking. I'm not eating enough so weight I would typically use feels heavy. At the end of the day, you can't improve without working on your weaknesses. I love my body, I love the gym, I love fitness, I love working hard, and I love improving myself; I do this because I'm passionate about it. Say fuck it to the shitty work out, move on, and completely wreck the next one 😈💪🏼
My weight plateaued this past week and I can't decide if I want to go all in and murder this prep or if should take some time to focus on myself and my goals. I like the way I look but it takes another level to be stage ready. Retour sur les @nation_of_wod de ce week-end avec @clement_perrin @ninabellenoue et @hebrard.estelle pour la Team @crossfitcenabum !
Un merveilleux weekend malgré beaucoup de fatigue en ce fin de saison et cette rentrée scolaire, nous terminons 15ème du WOD finale dans la catégorie élite et 24ème au général. Nous sommes à notre place malgré une 54ème et une 71ème place qui nous auront mis dedans pendant toute la compétition. Courir après le score fait aussi parti du jeu.
Je tiens à remercier tous les organisateurs pour la qualité de l'évènement, les bénévoles pour leur passion et leur patience tout le week-end, les athlètes pour leur engagement et le niveau de leur fitness, le public et tous les gens qui nous soutiennent quotidiennement et nous permettent de vivre notre petite vie d'athlète.
Je me suis éclaté avec cette Team et cette compétition et nous avons déjà pris date pour l'année prochaine ! Un régal de pouvoir jouer avec les gros 😄
