Ryan's tip of the week: Set weekly workout goals. Be sure to plan your workouts in advance. If you have it on your schedule, you’ll be less likely to opt out for beauty rest and/or breakfast tacos. Also - invite your friends to join you so you're held more accountable!
Got HIIT??? Dude! You don’t know what you’re missing! Being a Thyroid Chick with HypoT we have to get it DONE with a lil’ cardio, BUT the Key is to be Smart about it and be efficient and fast. Long cardio sweat sesh time OVER 20-30 min is no bueno. Keep it to short bursts of exercise and do it in 4 minutes. 10 minutes. 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️

Pretty much anytime we do upper body workouts, I get so frustrated and discouraged and give up on certain exercises. I felt that tonight but I'm leaving feeling strong. Some hot guy I work out with at the gym gave me some encouraging words, he said "remember why you're here and why you're doing this! You have to push through it... if the weight is too heavy just lower it and pump out more reps. You have to start somewhere and you'll never get stronger if you don't push yourself." 💪💪💪

I prefer working out at home so I can do what I want and when, and I have free weights, but the heavier weights I still need to add in 🏋️♀️
