I've heard so much about the Danganronpa series that I'm not exactly sure why it's taken me this long to finally get the games. I've watched the anime a few times and by that by the time I started playing, I already knew what was gonna happen. But I am so glad that I finally have these games because they're such a blast.
I've played a good couple visual novel games, and I was surprised of how much I liked them, since I rather get my hands dirty and play instead of going through text. But these games are a steady balance between reading, solving murder mysteries, and going through the class trails. The characters are nothing short of amazing. The art style to these games are so opposite than the tone to the series. And as much as Monokuma is hell on earth, he's still a bundle of joy to admire. Kinda hard to hate the teddy bear.
Recently, I watched Danganronpa 3 The End of Hope's Peak High School Despair Arc, where it tells the story before the events of the first game and showing The Tragedy through the view of the 2nd game's cast, and I'm already not looking forward to playing Goodbye Despair, because I don't any of these people to die. They're such a great group, that even losing one of them is gonna be hard. I already cried during the anime. It's gonna happen once I start Danganronpa 2.
