When we began dating, my mom was buying Mike a shirt and asked for his size.
He was a Small. "No man should be a Small," she said, and inexplicably proceeded to buy him a way-too-big Large shirt. Well, mom, Mike would now fit into that shirt. 💪🤣#ThankYouRockClimbing#LargeMan#Gainz
What one thing have all the @nationalparksuk that I've visited got in common??? 🤔
Every one I've hiked in over the last few weeks is covered in beautiful heather. 💜💜💜 This was taken on the way up Ben Lomond in @lomondtrossachs . I don't get bored.... hope you don't either 😁
Two weeks ago @mountaineer.matt and I took a spur of the moment hike up San Jacinto (this time via Marion Mountain). Weather forecast was sunny, we got this.
Light drizzle all day, and eventually a torrential downpour which washed out the trail.
Good thing we pack gear for any situation.
You guys, I'm seriously obsessed with the @vargooutdoors titanium BOT. Half bottle, half pot, it meets all your ultralight needs.
Use it to boil water, rehydrate your meals, drink water out of, and carry leftovers for the next day.
Read all about my love for this thing at www.thewholesometrail.com or follow the link in my profile and click "blog". Full disclosure: VARGO supplied me with a sample of this product but the review is 100% honest.
I'm been stuck in summer mode so to kick into fall gear we went in search of fall leaves this afternoon. 🌾🍁🍂
🤞Utah doesn't decide to skip fall completely because it's the best. Anyone else love fall as much as me? If not, what's your favorite season?
Don't let the name fool you! @gabbyplainandsmall is making moves to getting skilled and strong! Thanks for sharing your journey from bouldering to lead to bouldering. Both types of climbing are fun and addicting in their own ways.
When I first started climbing all I did was boulder. The upside being that I got strong quickly, the down side being that I got tired of it quickly. Ever since I found amazing lead climbing partners, ropes has had my heart. But these last couple of days at the gym I've been making my way back to the bouldering cave, after my lead climbing workouts. It's been pretty bittersweet as I remember where I got started in climbing and how far I've come.
It's going to feel like mid-July when I go up north this weekend and I am pumped. 🙌🏻 You won't be able to find me or contact me but in case you're worried about what I'll be doing, I'll most likely be kayaking, fishing or floating on my pizza raft. 🤷🏻♀️
