I recently lost a loved one.
The most pronounced emotion
I experienced was guilt.
Guilt for not speaking more.
Guilt for not hugging more.
Guilt for the feelings she did not know were inside of me.
The greatest thing about that regret,
Is learning to live in the moment.
And to forgive myself.
I get a second chance with all who remain
To love them a little more

Day 22 #mamafeelsenergy 💪 Today, eat or drink something green 🌱 I might sound like your own mama, but greens are where it's at and there's a reason that this concept has blown up. Basically, greens are some of the most nutrient dense foods around, full of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. The color green is also associated with life, vitality and renewal. So do me a favor and grab a green smoothie, juice or a big salad today and really pay attention to how you feel afterward. This green juice powder from @organifi is my mid-day go-to and makes it suuuuuuuper easy to benefit from all that greens have to offer. Other fave methods of mine: green smoothies, lightly steamed broccoli dipped in guacamole, and butter lettuce or arugula as the base of pretty much every meal 👌 How are you going to eat your greens today?

I love making healing combination teas. I get a pot, start brewing shisandra (my favorite medicinal berry that I learned from TCM) then I add hibiscus, cherry, peppermint blend herbal tea with loose leaf orange and jasmine green tea, add a few twigs of fresh mint, then strain it all through a mesh bag and voila! A healing, flowery green tea that is just perfect. Squeeze some lemon for a lemony touch ☀️
Every moment we experience leaves a mark which has a certain effect on us. Some of these moments may not be uplifting, inspiring. They may bring us pain, hurt, anger or guilt. Some of these moments may be so overwhelming that we subconsciously or consciously decide to build a wall up; to protect us in the hope of never experiencing that same kind of feeling again. But this wall that we put up doesn't protect us, or serve our best interests'. When we choose to close ourselves off to those 'negative' feelings, we are also cutting ourselves off to experiencing those 'positive' feelings such as joy, happiness, love.
Shouldn't the love, happiness & joy we experience from life outweigh the pain, anger, grief? Life invariably has its ups & downs. But life is made up of many cycles; these cycles end, & so too will that pain.
Breaking down our wall may be hard, seem daunting & scary. It will take courage, patience & kindness (to ones' self). But it will be worth it. By breaking down your wall, you are choosing to live. To feel. To be alive.
How have I felt today? What have I done? What does my soul desire, what are my goals? What have I learnt? These are some of the questions I'm answering in my new diary at the end of every day, and as for the mornings I've got my manifestation manual!

Saturday mornings are always going to the market, checking what produce is the freshest and best priced.
Then I buy sweet-potato bread and go home and prepare a delicious brunch together with my husband. Love these rituals on the weekend 💖

Samstagmorgens gehe ich immer zum lokalen Biomarkt bei mir um die Ecke und kaufe das Obst und Gemüse was am frischesten ist und den besten Preis hat.
Danach kaufe ich Süßkartoffel Brot und gehe nach Hause und bereite dann einen leckeren Brunch zusammen mit meinem Mann vor. Wie ich diese Wochenendrituale liebe. 💖

Foi o meu primeiro verão nesta nova fase profissional da minha vida em que me desafiei, saí da minha zona de conforto, expus-me perante todas vós e recebi o vosso carinho e apoio que me enche a alma, mais do que possam imaginar. Foi o primeiro verão em muitos anos em que realmente senti que estava a ser EU, na minha essência e a viver a vida que estou destinada a viver, e este chamamento de espalhar amor, felicidade e esperança em cada momento e a cada pessoa que se cruza no meu caminho.
