"The Super8 came on three trips over two years recording the sound for other films with director Chris McClean and I got the chance to capture the sonic highlights and some heavy sessions from my perspective from camp and on the shore. Surfer, Noah Lane jumps in on the north coast of Scotland and gets out on the west coast of Ireland.
I developed the film in a cupboard at home and badly messed up the process. The results are better than I’d hoped and cut together to a new soundtrack and hyped recordings from the locations." Featuring: Noah Lane and Sandy Kerr

I have a fascination with these lines by the side of train tracks, the way you can let your vision relax so the wires turn to ribbon, flexing and flowing like a single wave. Animation in real life. It used to get me thinking. I can choose to focus on the wire or on the pole that holds it. One is a pulsing beat, one pole after another, the other is an effortless breeze. Both are true, but I can't experience both simultaneously. What's interesting is... when I focus on one, the other disappears. I can ONLY see the wave or ONLY see the rhythm... life is like this. it's not whether we choose to see the wave or choose to feel the rhythm... it's that we recognise that whichever we see is not the only way. We get what we focus on, the more you see those wires one way, the more naturally you'll see them that way the next time until it gets harder to experience anything else so it becomes our default view. Sometimes these ideas we hold help us and sometimes we hold onto ways of seeing the world that hurt us and others. The trick is to realise that for every wave, for every beat, there's another way of seeing, another angle and when you can see them all, you can choose the version you really want. Boom! How's that for over analogising a fricking train journey 😜 #writersofinstagram#psychology#selfhelp#screenwriter#screenwriting#independentfilm#train#trains#adventure#travel#vscofilm#vscotravel#relaxing#cinema#potd#video @jackcanfield_official

I'm really looking forward to seeing the film on Wednesday night in Leicester Square.
It's going to be a bit of a film based week for me next week.
The #Amber premiere Wednesday.
Two x four hour ADR sessions back to back for #SyncOrSwim on Thursday.
Then straight into filming with @newzealandsonfilms on a new feature film #Carpool on Friday for a couple of weeks.
Give the #ambermovie trailer a watch for a taste of what promises to be a great action film:
