Our last full day here was well spent. Started the morning out at Queen Emma's Bath. It was quite the hike down but worth it. We took a quick swim and the boys leaped in. Lunched at the food trucks and had the best fish, shrimp and pastor tacos. 😋Highly recommend Al Pastor Tacos at Kapaa.
The Kapaa Beach was gorgeous but not swimmable-current is too strong. Moved onto Lyngate State Park. A mama hen and 3 of her baby chicks snuck up on me. They were pretty brave and so fluffy cute that I had to feed them. Snorkeling there was pretty muggy unless you swam by the rock barrier. Packing now for our return trip tomorrow. 😔🏝♥️ Leaving the islands is always hard to do. Grateful for this time together.

Today may be my birthday 🎈 but the day we finished sanding the mast sure felt like a birthday too. By taking on this work ourselves we saved well over $1,000 in manual labor costs. Sailing isn't only for those with lots of cash when you're willing to put in some hard work. 💪
