Let's get down to business shall we? Just pretending this is my office for a moment because look how amazing @hollyandcoworkshop is!!! Founded by the inspirational @hollytucker, Holly & Co is a work-shop near Richmond which helps promote and provide support to small businesses. Each month they completely change the appearance of the shop - by next week, summer will officially be over and my beloved ice cream wall will be no more. I'm already excited to see what's next - I won't spoil you with what theme it's going to be, you'll just have to visit for yourself, won't you? 💘
we are so incredibly guilty of finding a 🔥 place for noms and going back for another meal after we get we-didn't-eat-that remorse. while our road trip has been fantastic, we're beat and can't wait to be home with our people and our bed and my kitchen so i can get back to experimenting with baked eggs and cakes 🌿
Rolling into #IG with this #tbt .
Hi igers! I started traveling long term about 7 years ago and haven’t stopped. At this point, it's safe to say travel has become a habit. My feed is dedicated to the amazing sights I’ve seen along this way.
Go to Google maps, zoom in on the tri-border between Bolivia, Argentina, and Chile, and then switch to Satellite view.
That huge white spot is the Salar de Uyuni, aka the Uyuni Salt Flats.
Cooperatives of Bolivian workers gather the surface salt into piles to dry and then shovel it onto trucks to cart away.
Travelers come here for photos of the mind-blowing landscape. Sitting at 3,656 meters (11,995 ft) of elevation far from the nearest Bolivian city, the salt flat of Uyuni is not the easiest place to get to. But the journey is worth it.
Have you been?
