Afternoon tea at the Ritz ooer very posh but not the uncomfortable I don't belong here give, as the customer service was amazing so friendly and accomadating and the venue was so beautiful. Very English with bone china and heritage cutlery. Their was halal friendly sandwiches and everything was replenishable. We had a choice of chicken breast, salmon, cucumber and herbs, Emmanuel cheese, egg and cress and houmous sandwiches...we had fresh warm scones, plain and raison with such delicious clotted cream and strawberry jam...the desserts we weren't so keen on as the tastes were too strong and striking: there was a dark choclate and coffee tart and a raspberry coulie type mousse. The macaroon was melt in the mouth but I couldn't identify the flavour. Additionally they served coconut cake and a light strawberry and vanilla cream sponge cake which were better. Overall though we had a great experience .
