#postworkoutselfie from yesterday. Really worked up a sweat from back day and 30 min stairs after training. When I do cardio and weights at the same time I recommend cardio AFTER weights. You can utilize your energy and focus mainly for weightlifting which is most effective for metabolism and developing the shape you want. #waterbottlealwaysinhand#sweatitout

POST WORKOUT OPTIONS 🥞
🏋Like I mentioned the other day, what you put in your body before a workout plays a big role in how you'll perform.
🤓Well on the flip side of this, what you decide to eat POST workout will contribute greatly to things like muscle growth, overall recovery & providing the appropriate nutrients at the right time.
🥛Protein shakes are pretty common for me after a session. So those will typically come first, and then I'll absolutely let loose on some carbs.
🥔Potatoes are pretty standard, I seem to digest them really well and they taste awesome when you combine them with some salt, sauce etc. Perfect carb option after a session.
🍚Rice (not pictured) is also a staple that I consume most training days, ill chuck in some sauce, garlic and vegetables to make it a little tastier.
🍌If I've got more of a sweet tooth I'll make a huge smoothie bowl with some protein powder, a whole bunch of frozen fruit & whatever toppings I feel like that day. This kinda feels like I'm eating a desert.
🍟And some days I'll just say f*ck it, and will randomly just opt for something that tastes great but probably isn't the healthiest - burgers, sushi, pizza fried foods come to mind (about once a week)
So anyway I hope this helps! This is what I like to eat & what has worked for me, so take from it what you will.

😄Watch cartoons with my son
It's a good thing I'm working out more regularly. Baking for profit would likely expand my family's waist line if not for working out 😂😂😂 Happy Aloha Friday everyone!!! #StrawberriesNKisses 👄
I hear this one a lot..
"How do you stay motivated?"
Here's my answer:
"I don't." Now, don't get me wrong here. My goals are important to me, and that certainly drives me. However, I have learned that you cannot solely rely on motivation alone if you want to make a change, or reach a goal.
See, here's the thing. Motivation comes and goes. It's like the tide, there are high points, and low points.
Motivation is there to amp you up, to get you started, to get you ready and excited about this thing you are aspiring to do..
But let's be honest, if that thing you are aspiring to achieve requires you to wake up early, stay up late, work hard, play less, and comes with slow progress..there will be day where all motivation will be lost, humanity will set in, and you will press "snooze" on that alarm, skip the gym, go out with your friends instead of work, eat a crappy meal..and before you know it, BAM-you're right back where you started.
(Yes, I am speaking from experience, here)
However, ALL HOPE IS NOT LOST!
There is something you can do to commit to your goal, and reach it, even after the motivation fades...
That's where a skill comes in called DISCIPLINE.
Yes, I know, a word we all associate with the military, sacrifice, and not having fun.
It doesn't have to be that way though.
When you pair motivation WITH discipline, that is where the magic begins to happen.
If you don't have discipline now, that's fine, just like any skill, discipline can be developed with consistent practice.
All discipline really is, is doing what needs to be done, even when you don't feel like it..
So when that 4:30 A.M. alarm goes off, you jump out of bed even though you're tired. You go the the gym even though your sore and short on time, you skip your weekend out drinking with friends because you remind yourself how bad you want this, you eat healthy instead of ordering a pizza, and before you know it, BAM, you've totally transformed your life.
Discipline helps you get more stuff done, regardless of how you feel in the moment, and when you get more stuff done, you begin to accomplish more, and when you accomplish more, you achieve your goals. <3
Loving this makeup from Avon!! For sure, my go to when it comes to cosmetics. It's in my price range and I love the selection and colours! I'd order them all if I had the room!! What's your go to makeup piece - the one thing you can't leave the house without putting on first?!?!
