2012: This pic was take after watching Shawn Rays individual routine at the 99 Olympia (one of the best); I thought I'll give posing a go. No clue what I was doing 😂.
2017: Posing, camera, lighting and tan improved slightly 😂. Gained approx 10-12kg since 2012 (and approx 18kg since 2011).
At the beginning of 2016 I started to get back into training, focused on doing what I can, and not making training feel like a burden.
This year has been my most consistent year. Focused on finishing my program on time, properly managing any setbacks that appeared, and communicating with my coaches more.
Thank you to JA who introduced me to lifting weights, my coaches @coach_wassim and @yeahthefaz, and the #adonisfam for all the help and support.

Last deadlift attempt, note that care in the placement, learned the hard way that you've got to put it down with control in competition, got a lift disqualified! Bit of a shame, it was the difference in whether i went for 230 for my final attempt or 225, but hey, I'll not be making that mistake again!
#motivationmonday I know it's not Monday but all the days have merged into one in the final stages of prep as sleep is non existent. Rather selfishly today's motivation Monday post is about some of the messages I get that motivate me... When times get tough these messages remind me of why I'm doing this! So thanks guys!

When you're a child you believe everything is possible 🎅🏼👸🏼🌈✨ As we grow up we get tainted with societies negativities and filled with fear and self-doubt.
The reality is everything is possible. You can achieve everything you ever wanted. You just have to want it more than anything else.
You have to be willing to work, you have to fight for it, not give a sh!@ what anyone else thinks and always refuse to grow up 💕
