I took this picture in #Chicago five years ago. We were going to a #cubbies game and this #fatherandson were outside #wrigleyfield . I managed to capture a beautiful moment between two people connecting through #music while everybody else walked passed not blinking an eye. I've realised that I think to much and notice too much and quite possibly over analyse too much in many occasions but I always find the moments. And that's what I think matters. #streetphotography#illinois#USA 🇺🇸 #life
HANDS UP, Welcome to the Catalan Republic. Today the spanish government pushed the limits against democracy and there's no way back. Today is history, today is change, today is the begining of something beautiful.
-BATTAMBONG, CAMBODIA- One of the toughest assignments I had was during the 1988 Vietnamese troop withdrawls from Cambodia. The town was totally trashed from years of Khmer Rouge neglect and for a guy who hates bugs-- I found the accommodations terrifying. One woman reporter even screamed when she opened the guestroom door. Inside was a blood stained mattress with a large burnt hole in the middle harboring a colony of giant cockroaches. There was allot of international media covering the lavish ceremony so I tried to find a different angle. Though the government probably hated this image circulating around the world (especially during a highly pumped PR campaign) I do think it adds a human element to the event. I was packing about 45 extra pounds back then from all the Thai rice and curry dishes I gobbled daily in Bangkok so it was a rather comical site watching me try to lift my overweight frame atop that armored personnel carrier. My next post will show beautiful downtown Battambong from the air ... Stay tuned.
