Pro Posture Tips with SCP Continued. 🚶🏽🚶🏽♀️
The T-spine Extension exercise is a great way to combat those hours of sitting or standing with poor posture. From our earlier post, we really encourage everyone to move as much as possible to help with bad posture. If you can't, remember there are a bunch of corrective exercises you can perform. Here's a picture of how to perform the T-spine Extension correctly! 👍👍
🔸Find a foam roller or even a water bottle and place it between your shoulder blades.
🔸With hands behind your head, slowly roll back and hold for 2 seconds then come back. You should feel a nice upper back stretch.
🔸Perform 5 reps then rest. Repeat once more.
Deadlifts will always have my heart ❤️ Today I decided to work up to 67.5kg for 10x3 paused deadlifts = PB! Which was a great idea at the time, but man I'm already sore. Oh by the way, a 2 liter of water plus a lever belt during deads isn't a good idea... I almost didn't make it 😂 #happyfriday
Wasn't gonna post this sloppy bench vid bcs bench has been feeling very 💩 lately (clearly not staying tight enough bcs fatigue and the stars weren't aligned or something) but I have a story to tell with this video.
Yesterday when I was benching, a fellow gym goer approached me and asked #WhyIArch . This made me berry happy - he said that he had never seen anyone do that before and that he was legitimately curious because ✨🎉✨there is always more to learn.✨🎉✨Why yes sir, there is! Thank you kind gym stranger for not negatively approaching something new and sharing this positive mindset with me. I also strongly believe that each individual always has more to learn and room for improvement, no matter how skilled one may become in his or her respective trade(s). There are always new ways to refine our techniques and always aspects of life that we may not ever expect to encounter.
Powerlifting really has taught me some life lessons and this is one of them. Stop living life with the mindset that "this is just how I am" and that "people don't change". This way of thinking prohibits growth. We live in a dynamic environment so to grow we must also be constantly moving and willing to adapt. Don't be afraid to question things. Don't be afraid to change how you do or see things. Don't be narrow minded and you won't get stuck.
..I have over 350 exercise videos saved to my computer for the purpose of online training, but it seems every time I go to throw another workout up in the members section of my website I'm missing 4-5 videos that I need! 🤦♂️ ...These are the latest ones I've missed for some body weight/suspension strap sessions!

...More annoyingly, I'm pretttty sure I've posted all of these exercises on Instagram before, but after I've posted something on here I delete it from my phone...So I had to re-do them! 😭
