Both Peter and Judas failed Jesus. They were both chosen by him, both followed him, both served him. It wasn't a surprise to Jesus that either of them fell - it was revealed ahead of time.
After they fell, they both regretted their actions - But now, let's take a look at where they differed - Peter fell, wept, repented, turned away from the wrong path, and then rose up again to set his eyes on the risen Savior, Jesus; While Judas fell, wept, and went in his own effort to attempt to right his wrong (he tried to return the money) - But unlike Peter, Judas didn't rise again. He didn't make the decision to re-set his eyes on the risen Savior, Jesus; He stayed down, he gave up, he wallowed in self pity - after trying (and failing) in his own effort to right his wrongs - he hung his own self. Peter became known as the rock on which the church was built, Judas was known as the betrayer.
No matter what happened in the past, no matter what went down yesterday or how far you fall, no matter where you've fallen short; Repent, Turn Away from the wrong, Re-set your eyes and heart on Jesus and Be known as what He called You to be! • Read Luke 22 and Luke 24
My 3 years old brother loves Gorillaz, he loves all the videos (except rock the house, feel good inc and el mañana, I don't show him those videos) BUT he doesn't like Sleeping Powder at all, he says that it's so scary, poor 2D
"Si sapeva ben poco del Bandito Mascherato, ma al posto dei denti davanti aveva una fessura, come tuo padre! Lui e il suo fratello gemello Bandito Blu erano fuggiti perché condannati a morte dal governatore. La loro unica possibilità di salvezza era quella di separarsi, e così fecero! Giurando che avrebbero ucciso il governatore Odious!"
