As a salon studio owner I want to give back to the community and so Jkralikhair will be holding the first annual "Cut for a cause event!" Monday October 23rd from 4pm-8pm.
Free haircuts💇🏼♀️💇♂️ to anyone who donates $30 or more to Tiny homes of Detroit a non profit organization that builds homes for people that are struggling to get on their feet. Please call🤳 and make an appointment for this event 248-670-0737. A haircut is not necessary to donate, all who attend will receive a goodie bag and entry to a raffle!
Hope to see you there!!!
Both these photos were taken seconds apart, only different is light exposure📸 it's important for clients to understand that to the eye your hair morphs color. Your color will look different in natural lighting than florescent lighting. Both photos were taken on an iPhone, just one with a flash and the other without. The left appears as that classic summer blonde where the right photo gives off a blonde with more depth and a cooler tone to it. Your hair will look different in your bathroom than outside and so on. My job is to make sure you love the color no matter what room you walk into 💕 embrace the magic 🔮✨#houseofmeraki#hairmagic#broadwaysalonstudios#jennakatherine @_thehouseofmeraki_ #suite116#modernsalon @american_salon #behindthechair @behindthechair_com #pulpriotlightener#shadeseq#troysalon#detroithair @jennuhhkatherine #babylites
Sometimes the process is as beautiful as the results😍! Anyone ever look at the hair while it's processing and just imagine the end results?? We get all giddy and excited to see what we have created😀 and the climactic part of when you blow it dry and you are so proud of yourself!!! It's not all the time, there are those times we pray to the hair gods (please make this look good) but as you grow in Knowledge and confidence those become less and less.
Would you agree education is key to growing as a stylist??
OH NO YOU DIDN'T!!! 😮😮😮
I didn't 😋 but I did add some playful layers to this thick golden blond hair.
Started with sectioning a teardrop pattern on the top of the head. In the back first sub section was a blunt cut. Each section was elevated and point cut for soft graduation. Sides were graduated and slanted toward the face.
Dried hair with My Amazing blow dry secret and an arch vent brush.
Teardrop section was held straight out from head and utilizing a back cutting technique to create soft but playful layers.
