Sam Darnold - Darnold continues his dominance, he has now lead USC to being arguably the top competitor for #1 ranked Alabama. Darnold has solidified himself as a top-5 Heisman candidate.
Josh Rosen - UCLA's defense gave up 405 rushing yards to the Cardinals. The Bruins simply could not stop Stanford. Even Their backup QB went 13-19 for 123 yards. Rosen played awesome as usual but he's being asked to do too much. At least he'll be used to it when he gets drafted by a shitty NFL squad.
Josh Allen - Production vs. Potential. Josh Allen is becoming extremely hard to evaluate at this point. He obviously hasn't lived up to the massive offseason hype he built up after a remarkable sophomore season. His accuracy is still a huge concern. Although he's still a projected 1st rounder, Allen is in jeopordy of being knocked out of my weekly QB reports.
Matt Miller recently released an article explaining why the NFL doesn't like certain star college quarterbacks like Lamar Jackson and Mason Rudolph. CHECK IT OUT 🤜🏼 *Link In Bio* 🤛🏼
It's a short week for our 5th ranked Trojans as we take on 16th ranked Washington State this Friday night! It's a late game for us East Coast fans but we'll be hosting a game watch at @theuglymugdc! Kickoff is at 10:30 PM Eastern! Link in profile.
After a disappointing 0-3 start, I think it's time to discuss who is going to be the starting QB for the San Francisco 49ers in 2018. There are risks involved with all 4 of these QB's. With Rosen and Darnold, you're looking at rookie QB's that have to come in and learn a system...and hopefully don't bust. With Beathard, you're not sure if he's ever going to be good enough to carry the team. And with Kirk Cousins, you're going to end up spending an astronomical amount of money to get him here, probably having to outbid several teams to get him here. This could backfire on two fronts. The first is obvious....what if he ends up not being good enough? And secondly, spending that kind of money on one guy, keeps you from signing better players across the board. See Baltimore Ravens and Joe Flacco. What do you think, faithful?
And still undefeated... The Trojans of USC. I wouldn't say this was a great win, but a win nonetheless. I still have my doubts about this team, by I'm always optimistic. I haven't seen improvement like I saw last season from game to game. This team at best is a game to game decision, which concerns the hell out of me. Next up is short week and we're playing a high profile offense against the Cougars of Washington St. #BeatTheCougars#USCFootball#Trojans#FTFO ✌🏽✌🏽
