With my baby sister's wedding this weekend, I knew if I wanted to get my long run in, I'd have to move my workouts around and do my long run during the week. A huge shout out to my mom for taking my kiddo to school so I could actually do it! 
Only 4 days after my last long run, I'm surprised how good I felt today. Even with a huge climb early in the run (I wanted to catch the sunrise from the top of the #culvercitystairs), I was able to finish a couple minutes under my goal time. I've felt a few twinges in my feet and heels/achilles, but other that, I am feeling strong and healthy this cycle. Knock on wood it continues and I'm able to continue chipping away towards that #sub3! Countdown to #CIM - 72 days!!

それでは第②回〜背中〜編始めます☝️

僕はトレーニングで一番鍛えるのが難しい部位が「背中」だと思います。
.
.
理由は、トレーニング中に対象部位を目で見ることができないので意識がしづらいからです。
.
.
なので背中は特に、部位を細かく分け、狙った部位をピンポイントに丁寧に鍛えていくのが大事だと思います(^^)
.

☆『背中』メニュー
①ハーフデッドリフト(脊柱起立筋狙い)3set
(250㎏×3〜5回×2set、210㎏×10回)
②ワンハンドベントオーバーローイング (広背筋厚み狙い) 片手3setずつ
(54㎏×8〜12回×3set)
③DYロウ (広背筋、僧帽筋下部狙い) 3set
(70㎏×10〜15回×3set、ラストセットのみドロップセット)
④ハイロウ (僧帽筋中、下部狙い)3set
(80㎏×12〜15回×3set、ラストセットのみドロップセット)
⑤ラットプルダウン (広背筋の広がり狙い) 3set
(80㎏×10〜12回×3set、ラストセットのみレストポーズ法)

ハーフデッドリフトは高重量を扱うため集中力を一気に高める必要があります。なのでトレーニングの最初に持ってくることでその日のトレーニング全体の集中力アップ、テンションアップにも繋がります😁

しかし、デッドリフトをやった後だと腰が痛くてベントオーバーやローイング種目ができないという方は最後に持ってくるのも有りだと思います(^^)

ハーフデッドリフトが強くなる事により、ローイング系種目が飛躍的に強くなります☝️

Lose weight WITHOUT dieting!!

I NEVER diet! I see those figure competitors eating chicken, eggs, and asparagus, and I think to myself, I could never do that. I could never deprive myself from food that I love!! I love to eat too much ;)
.
So here are some of my top tips for losing weight without dieting:
.
1. Write down your weight-loss goal and WHY then put the paper somewhere where you can see it everyday. I used to have a picture of me in a bikini on our honeymoon taped to my bathroom mirror!
.
2. Write down what you eat for 1 week - Studies show that people who keep food diaries eat 15% less food than those who don't.
.
3. Bulk up your meals with more veggies - I promise you, you will never overeat on veggies!
.
4. Order the smallest portion of everything - we tend to eat what's in front of us, even though we're full.
.
5. Buy a FitBit and aim for an extra 1,000 steps.
.
6. Don't be afraid to eat at night!! You won't gain weight from eating at night - just make sure you're eating something healthy.
.
7. Eat 90% of your meals at home - restaurants serve such large portions and it's usually loaded with sodium.
.
8. Get an online weight loss buddy - having someone to hold you accountable is key!! If you don't have anyone I can help you!! Message me!!

Meet Sharon 68 years young! Yes I asked and she told me ha!  Sharon was fumbling around the cables and trying to work her arms.  Someone showed her an advanced exercise and she tried and couldn't properly do the exercise.  I watched her later come back so I introduced myself and asked if I could show her some other easier exercises. She obliged in her sweet southern accent (Kentucky). She told me she only has 1/2 a heart and was trying get in shape.  I told her she was an inspiration.  Age means nothing so many people use age as a crutch.  BS!  If Sharon with 1/2 a heart at 68 years young can do it.
